The perfume bottle made of solid-coloured green glass has a cubical body with a high neck which features no ornamentation. The whole neck is situated in a complex gilded metal frame, going down as far as to cover half of the vessel. The upper half of the body is encompassed by an openwork acanthus ornament made of gilded metal, which turns into a ring decorated with diagonal striping and an astragal at the neck. A stopper made of the same material, with a bulge and abundantly decorated with stripes of cymatium has been placed on a hinge. At the top of the stopper, there is a fully dimensional gilded metal figurine depicting a fox looking backwards. The vial is encrusted with a figural stopper that turns into an openwork ornament. It is an example of artistic craftsmanship in the biedermeier style, which is characterized by its exceptional decorativeness and skilful jewellery craftsmanship.
